Jim Carrey is the greatest comedic actor of all time. If not all time, then certainly of my time. And he continues to prove that his comedic talent has no limit, continuously crafting well-thought out, hilarious segments on various late shows throughout the years, in addition to his movies. While recently he hasn't been as commercially (or critically) successful as some other major comedians, Carrey recently returned to form last year with a daring a controversial role in I Love You Philip Morris, which is one of the best movies I've ever seen. When others are relying on the same shit that they've been doing for years (see Sandler, Adam) Carrey continues to take risks and evolve as an actor. Additionally, while most others would be content with the monotonous choreographed conversation late-night hosts offer, Carrey always thinks outside the box and adds something more to his appearances, and last night on Letterman was no exception.
